An amazing setlist and show by (almost all of) Guns n’ Roses. I did miss Matt Sorum and Izzy Stradlin as well as some more songs for the die-hard fans (I was hoping to hear Sympathy for the Devil, Garden of Eden, Yesterdays and One in a Million) but still freakin’ awesome. Some of the more complacent hits like Used to Love Her and Don’t Cry were also absent.
Thanks to my friends at Cerveza Indio for the invitation!
A few hours ago, I had the awesome pleasure of finally being able to see one of my favorite bands live. And even if I totally agree that GN’R is not the same as it was when you had Slash, Duff McKagan, Izzy Stradlin and Matt Sorum, the 2011 gig is still pretty fucking awesome!
I found this video online which shows a bit of what we saw last night and what GN’R was like 18 years ago. I hope you like it. Shout out to my bro @Pornografico, Erick, Neto, Dieter and Marcelo. And to my wife, who was understanding and patient enough to let me go rock the night away as if I was a 15 year old!!!!
